I started off with Mrs Randall in kindergarten.  First grade was Mrs. Stark.  Second grade was Mrs Duff (who married that year and became Mrs. Vedenburg (sp?).  Third grade I had Mrs Johnson, my least favorite of my Union Street teachers.

I found out something interesting about six months ago...

My son, Slayton, had a teachers aid in his class named Mrs Dimmick.  One day she and I got talking, and I mentioned that I grew up in Springfield.

Long story short, it turns out that she used to be my gym teacher when I was very little, kindergarten/1st/2nd grade era.  She went by Mrs West then.
